I deeply regret this purchase.
The zipper is every bit the problem the other reviews make it out to be. I’m not totally sure, but at some point I began to suspect that the zipper is extra long to accommodate the zip-in jacket. It’s impossible to catch. All of my jackets are Fjallraven at this point, so this isn’t me being an American confused by the double zipper. It’s so hard to get the zipper going and when you do, even odds it’ll slide apart at the stop. So before you can go out the door, you’re tasked with 3-5 minutes of questioning your sanity as you try and pull the zippers apart enough to undo it and try again. This does nothing to decrease the odds of it happening again. So budget your time accordingly.
The zipper’s only part of it though. I knew this wasn’t a waxed G-1000 situation, but the material of the shell is odd. It’s hydrophobic enough to keep you dry. It’s also hydrophilic enough that you’ll just stay a constellation of water droplets until the jacket fully dries. Which takes forever. The jacket has an insulated layer out of absolute necessity – this thing is useless as shell on its own because without a layer of synthetic insulation, it will chill you to your bones.
I think the fit is weird, but that’s a matter of personal preference and at this point, I’m just nitpicking. But seriously, it doesn’t fit well.
I really don’t like this jacket. I really hope you heed my warning and use your money on something else on this site. Fjallraven has never ever let me down. Except once.

I bought this in the winter of 2024. So I’ve had it for a year. Love it. My best jacket ever. Great waterproofing.
