I really love these pants, I wear them to work construction and work on the farm all the time. However after only 6 months of regular use the knees are ripping already. Its really unfortunate considering these are supposed to be trekking pants. I may try to the more durable version but I dont think Ill buy these again. I have jeans that hold up better.

Bought it for my Rim2rRm2Rim at the Grand Canyon, it performed extremely well with its built-in ventilation system allowing excellent micro-climate management over the top of baselayersbesides its awesome look, I highly recommend it!

The pair i bought 2 years ago are my favorite pair. Wanted to get another, but now the improved fit completely doesnt fit. It’s now either way too tight or way too big. Go back to the old fit!

The first time I saw anyone wearing Fjallraven trousers I was training with law enforcement officers from both the US and Canada. Several of the officers from Canada were wearing Fjallraven pants. I was impressed with how they looked and their comments regarding the quality of the product were very positive. Fast forward several years and I came across a Fjallraven store having a sale on the Vidda Pro Ventilated trousers.
I have been wearing these now for several months. They are my new favorite pair of pants. I have worn many brands of “tactical or technical” outerwear are and these really steal the show. Longevity of the product is yet to be tested but fit, function and quality are excellent. I will be purchasing more of these in the future.

Perfect fit, repels water, stretches in all the right places. My favorite work pants.

These have become my absolute favorite pants! Love the materials and features. Not to mention, they’re extremely comfy. Will definitely be buying more.
CosmanyN –
Great trousers but sizing is inconsistent. They are smaller in the waist than the
Vidda pro lite pants. Even though they are the same size.

I bought these November 2021 and love them. They fit into my world of jeans as well as a couple other brands of active lifestyle pants, but are going to be replacing most of the others over time.
They fit well. Theyre durable beyond imagination. They shed liquids. The resisting snagging when hiking through cover. Theres nothing I dont like about them.
Oh theyre COOL. I get more comments on them than any other wardrobe item.

Solid pants in fit and feel, loved them right up until they started falling apart. Unlike the unventilated version, the seat on the ventilated pants isn’t actually reinforced, it’s just a different color in the same weight of fabric. As a result, the seat wears out long before the rest of the pants. Likewise, the side vents are genuinely useful (if a little silly looking), but the zipper they chose is too small by half, so it failed after 18 months. Great design let down by a couple of cheaped out details in the seat and zipper. If I can get 4 years of hard work out of them instead of 2, they’d be worth the price tag.

I have purchased several pairs of these pants and really liked them in the original sizing. For me, the new improved fit has now made one of my favorite pants no longer an option. The waist and seat dimensions have gotten smaller where the slimmer fit leaves less space for the thigh pockets, reduces functionality and simply does not fit (size 48 short). Improvements based on actual field use are welcome, but these changes seem fashion oriented. Why change what your customers love about your product? I sincerely hope the product development team takes note and reverts back to the original fit as there are other customers that have expressed the same thoughts. Cynically, it makes one wonder if a bean counter pitched a data driven algorithm that would justify less fabric for a better bottom line but resulted in bad news for the usability of the product.

Excellent pants; wear them trekking, kayaking, hunting, and for everyday use. They dry quickly, hold up well with heavy use, and look good around town. These are all I wear in Alaska; and Ive bought mine used. Thanks Fjallraven

I have used this pants for a number of hiking/camping adventures with the family, as well as some day hikes. The front pockets are game changers; have access to small pocket camera, knife, snacks for the kids, etc makes these pants perfect for adventuring around. Yes they look “very technical”, but that’s the point…these pants are about function! Highly recommend them for hiking around and overall “adventure pants”. I’m 6’0″ tall and weight 170lbs….the 32×34 fit perfect.

I’ve worn these pants regularly for a little over a year and the fabric started to wear out much faster than expected for the price.

Really nice stuff & functional but bit too long for 163cm height.
I might it cut it to make it well fit.

I had the regular vidda pro pants for 6 years , but my first impression of this vidda ventilated are lighter, comfortable and the ventilation is a game changer, to avoid excess of heat !
