Was looking for a fanny type pack that wasn’t bulky… with no reviews I was skeptical but decided to give this one a try. I am picky… I like it. Front outside pocket is large enough for a iphone 10. Inside is very roomy. Not sure how heavy it will be if you put a lot in it but with just a few items it is ok. Strap long enough to wear around waist and there’s a band to keep excess strap from flapping around. Material is softer than my fjallraven backpack. Nicely designed small bag that I plan to use as a fanny pack.

Awesome!! I love all the compartments, it’s perfect.

I looked forever to find a lumbar pack that was not to big, not too small, not too sporty and not too fashion, AND had a body-facing security zip pocket. I also didn’t want to spend too much $$$. This little hip pack is PERFECT for walks and even short hikes: it holds my iPhone Xs Max, small wallet, keys, lip gloss, and masks. It’s comfortable and adjustable, and it looks super cute. You can sling it around and wear it on your front or back, but I prefer it on my waist. Love love love!!!

NOT waterproof…
Only water resistant. Cute style and high quality

Perfect size hip pack, not overwhelmingly big but plenty of pockets for all the essentials. Also love Fjallraven’s fun color options, I got the yellow.
Julia –
Perfect size, comfy to wear around waist or as cross body, and stylish light grey color. Compartments and pockets make it easy to stay organized as well which is a plus.
Mike –
The high coast fanny is great! I needed something to carry supplies while walking my dog and this is perfect. The nylon material is awesome and it has plenty of compartments to keep my stuff organized.

I love this little fella. I took a trip to an amusement park and this is a quick version of what I packed. Front pocket- hand sanitizer, travel pill bottle, lip balm, ear buds, and a few smaller items. Big section- phone, mask, sunglasses, headband, and a enough room for other odds and ends. The back- I kept my cards, money, and receipt in the zip portion closest to my body. It’s a great size and I’ll likely buy another for my kiddo!

Love this! Bought it for a Disneyland trip and I was not disappointed. Lots of pockets but never felt overwhelming. Fit my wallet, toiletries bag, phone, sunscreen and sunglasses. Spacious without feeling heavy. Strap is long enough to put as a cross body.
Rachel –
Perfect fanny pack. Small yet big enough to hold the essentials (phone, keys, wallet…). Looks stylish without being flashy. I use this when I go on walks in warm weather and am not wearing clothing with enough pockets to hold my phone.
Lisa –
Took this on vacation and was very pleased. Held all my essentials when walking around town – phone sunglasses, lip balm, eye drops, wallet. It looked good also.

This was a great purchase for my trip! I wore it as crossbody instead of fanny pack style. Easily kept all my things and it felt secure. It got dirty on the airport conveyor belt and was easily washed in the washer (no dryer) everything came out!

This is a great smaller hip pack. Fit my phone, wallet, glasses just fine. I do wish the strap was easier to adjust for sizing around waist and using as crossbody. Comfortable and seems durable.

I now have both the Fjallraven High Coast Hip pack and the Fjallraven Hip Pack. Both are fantastic in their own ways.
The High Coast is made of a lightweight nylon, has 3 pockets (front, middle and back) and a mesh net with a key hook. It also folds into itself, similar to the Patagonia Black Hole Mini, but holds way more that the Black Hole mini. A plus are the loops at both ends of the pack, which I use a G-series carabiner keychain to loop in the zippers as extra security when traveling. I prefer darker colors in the nylon, as the shark grey was too transparent. I am petite, right at 5 ft and the pack worn at the hip does not look overwhelming, but I prefer the sling cross body wear. The excess belt does move around, although secured by the extra elastic. Both have dual zippers for access of the main compartment.
Compared to the Fjallraven Kanken hip pack the High Coast is a bit more sleek as the logo is smaller.
I do also love the Fjallraven Kanken, although the logo is huge. It does fit more in the front pocket, has a nice firm handle at the front and also has 3 pockets; a small divider in the main section and a keychain holder. The plus is the G-1000 material which is water resistant and can be rewaxed for a finished look. This too also looks adorable with different colorways. No side loops on this one.
As reference, both of these hip packs can fit TWO iphone 12 (one for work and one for personal), iPods, a slim card holder wallet, my keys, masks, lip balm and pens. The Kanken can hold a bit more in the front pocket, where in addition to the above, I stow my inhaler.
I switch between the two as my staple hip packs. I’ve used the Patagonia black hole and the Lululemon belt bags, but always go back to Fjallraven. You can not go wrong with them.

Nice, high quality, versatile pack that I have worn both around the waist and as a crossbody. Only thing is, the strap is kind of harsh when it rubs against my neck as a crossbody. Great pockets, which are easy to zip.

I love how slim it is, how much it can hold, and the body facing pocket in the back. It fits my phone perfectly. But mostly, I love how embarrassed my sister is to be around me when I wear it. She’s wrong, Fanny packs for life!
Aly –
the 2 outside pockets are perfect. The main pocket fits everything (large keychain, small wallet, small hand creams and lip stuff) except my large sunglass case which I hang from the outside loop with a carabiner as needed. If the strap was a little wider, this would be perfection. The whole bag is small enough to keep essentials to use alone, and fits easiloy inside a larger bag. Great alt to, and a little larger than, the lulu EBB.
Ann –
I am so pleased with this purchase. The bag is a sturdy nylon. It has a small front pocket, a padded back pocket and a roomy middle compartment with a small netted pocket. There is also a hook (for keys?) in this compartment. My iPhone 14 fits easily with room for other items. It could carry a baby sized water bottle or your dog’s lead and treats. The strap is long enough to be a crossbody, so on trend, and it has the same shape as the popular Lulu bag, but it’s a nicer construction. I also think that the zippers are better quality than the Lulu, with little multicolored cord details on the pulls. There are other small details that elevate the bag, like the elastic keeper for extra strap length and the smaller logo patch. The color is more of a mustard than bright yellow.
Karen –
My only complaint is that the bag is not waterproof and should be advertised as such.
I specifically bought this bag based on the claim that it is waterproof, for use while paddling. Despite having the bag completely zippered, water still got in to both compartments.

Super cute. Perfect size for my phone and keys.

Well made and the color is dope! Lots of pockets and other than that, pretty standard smallish Fanny sack. I wear it on my bike every day and super happy about it.

great fanny pack! medium size, which is perfect for me.

It’s compact but spacious enough for my stuff, which is amazing. I love this thing.
Kelly –
Love the color & style of this hip pack. It’s not too large, nor too small & has multiple zippered pockets so you can be somewhat organized. The strap is totally adjustable & can be worn as a hip pack or crossbody. It has a small mesh pocket inside the main compartment along with a clasp to attach a key ring of sorts. This pack does not disappoint
Sandra –
Perfect crossbody bag! Spacious, lots of zippered compartments (including secure back-zippered pocket, lightweight, adjustable, and folds into itself for packing. Wears well. More fun colors, please!!
